More than 30 years of innovation and success

Our company’s history starts with Unix Research and development,
where the acronym REsearch and Development In uniX comes from: ReDiX Informatica was born in 1990.

1990 - 1994

The birth

In 1990 ReDiX takes part in the paper repository automation and management project for all the Chamber of Commerce of Milan procedures. We are given the task to select the hardware platform, the operative system and the DBMS, as well as to develop the whole management software, including to supplement the automated components (sliding wardrobes, automatic carriages etc). This is how ReDiX Pratica was born. Over these years, our work has rapidly migrated from the operative system Unix to MS-DOS/Windows: ReDiX becomes a centre of excellence for the development of applications in the DOS environment. The C/Unix pair is placed by the side and exceeded by the Clipper/Dos pair.

1992 is a crucial year: in collaboration with Camat Sistemi ReDiX develops esaGEN, the documentary software to manage the current archive within the local Administration.

In 1993 the local networks world (LAN) becomes more and more widespread: ReDiX becomes an authorized Novell Dealer.

In 1994 there's a crucial turning point: with the IVR Intervoice a long adventure starts in autoresponders programming and the CTI (Computer e Telephone Integration) skill is developed in the banking field. From this moment on our professionals take part in the team that implements the Call Centre CTI infrastructure of the first Italian telephone bank. We will go on with this until the early 2000s, when we participate in the Call Centre realization for the main Italian Banks.

1995 - 1999

The entrance into the publishing field

Personal computer, local networks, MS Windows 95 encourage the software houses to use more and more Microsoft development tools: ReDiX joins the MSDN programme - Microsoft Developer Network.

1997 is a very crucial year: upon request of a local publisher, ReDiX implements a solution to manage the whole distribution process related to the newspapers and local periodicals publishing world. This is the first step towards ReDiX Editorial suite.

2000 - 2005

Our solutions growth

The new millenium confirms ReDiX as a consulting partner in the banking field: we participate in the Call Centre porting of one of the main European online banks in Italy, putting to good use the expertise achieved over the first years in business, establishing ourseleves in this sector.

In 2001 ReDiX joins the team in charge of implementing the Call Centre of one of the most important Italian large-scale distribution operators.

In 2004 ReDiX, thanks to the Clipper/DOS skils, at this point historic and highly steady, is chosen by the Ministry of Transport, to sort out the issue regarding the use of obsolete software on more modern hardware.

2006 - 2012

Redix solutions achievement

Over the years ReDiX Pratica becomes the most popular software at the Italian CCIAA for the paper repository management, yet exploiting the new possibilities offered by the web-based version.

In 2008 ReDiX Editorial attains the national newspapers and periodicals publishing. In 2011 the suite is enhanced with the new application ReDiX Collabora, to manage the personnel activities reporting, involved in realizing publishing products.

2013 - PRESENT

A constant growth

ReDiX enlarges its consulting offer by collaborating with one of the main player in the energy field.

The official presence of ReDiX on MEPA, that is the Public Administration electronic market, allows us to expand our consulting solutions for the PA world.

From 2015 to now ReDiX specializes in the Data Management field, especially in the Data Quality sector. Within this strategic field we came up with ReDiX DQ Framework solution.

In 2016 ReDiX achieves an important result in the Electronic Funds Transfer field. Due to the experience gained, we become technological partners of Card & Merchant Solutions, Digital Payment Solutions and Capital Market & Network Solutions most important company in Italy. From then on, we develop control and interfacing applications.

2017 is the year when the CRM component for the subscriptions management, ReDiX Editorial suite, is acknowledged. ReDiX is chosen by the most popular Italian newspapers and periodicals publisher.
